PIANO EXAMINATIONS
We offer exam training for the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM), Trinity College London (TCL), and Diploma Certificates for both.
ABRSM and TCL are music examination boards based in UK which offers music examinations in music centres internationally. The certification from these two authorities are the most commonly recognised in Singapore.

ABRSM Piano Exams
Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music
ABRSM consists of well-established music colleges in the UK, namely the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music and Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
ABRSM is structured progressively from Grades 1-8, and these exams promote holistic musicianship by assessing a range of practical skills - including performance skills through 3 pieces selected from an official syllabus, technical skills through scales and arpeggios, notation skills through a sight-reading test, and listening skills and musical perception through aural tests.
Sight reading is tested in all grades in ABRSM, and Theory in ABRSM grade 5 is a prerequisite for Practical Grades 6-8.
TCL Piano Exams
Trinity College London
Trinity College London offers practical graded exams which are numbered from 1 to 8 in increasing order of difficulty. Candidates perform three (sometimes four) pieces, and technical work featuring scales and arpeggios. Two supporting tests are chosen from a selection including sight reading, aural, musical knowledge and improvising.
Sight Reading is only tested in higher grades, and there are no Theory prerequisites in the higher grades.
Diploma Exams
Both ABRSM and TCL
The Performance Diploma is a non-degree program for the specialised training keyboard instruments who seek advanced musical training.
